Brianne comes to us after 9 years of growing and running a tutoring center and then a private school as their Director.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in English from Western Michigan and was certified to teach middle and high school level English and Geography. Brianne completed her student teaching at Lakeshore Middle School in Stevensville, MI and worked at Sylvan Learning Center and at Habitat for Humanity. She also worked for Lake Creek Academy as a private tutor in 2023-2024.
She is originally from Michigan, but has lived in the area since 2011.
She lives with her three children, eight cats, and two huskies on 2 acres in Conroe.
Michelle is a local bookkeeper, business owner, and volunteer. She received her Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. As a student, Michelle volunteered in local elementary schools in Cy Fair ISD and after college she worked in corporate accounting before leaving for private practice in 2015.
She sits on the Board of Directors of Special Needs Sibs, a non-profit that provides Neurotypical siblings within local special-needs families customized social meet-ups and educational scholarships to enable them to have normal life experiences outside the challenges of the immediate family circle.
She is originally from the Houston area.
Jonathan is a licensed CPA, business owner, and volunteer. He received his Bachelor's in Marketing and Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis. He worked in public accounting from 2004-2015 and started his own bookkeeping/tax practice in 2015. He volunteers with Montgomery County Meals on Wheels and Montgomery County Food Bank in his spare time.
He is originally from Tucson, AZ but has lived in the area since 2008.
Michelle & Jonathan live with their two children, three dogs, two cats, and one snake in Conroe on 9 acres.
Mike has spent nearly a decade helping nonprofits, startups, and educational organizations grow and thrive. He earned his M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Missouri—St. Louis, specializing in mathematical logic and analysis, after completing his B.A. in Philosophy with minors in Religious Studies and English at Southern Illinois University. His work since then has focused on building inclusive systems that expand opportunity through diversity, equity, and accessibility. Mike has raised roughly $17M in funding for mission-driven organizations, combining strategic planning with storytelling that connects deeply to people and purpose.
In addition to his work at LCA, Mike is a writer and emerging author. His forthcoming book on nonprofit strategy and grant writing builds on his recent published essays in literary and professional journals. Outside of work, Mike enjoys writing, hiking, tennis, cycling, and birdwatching.
Mr. Mike is originally from Illinois and is married to Ms. Erica, our Camp Director. Mike & Erica live with their daughter in Conroe.
