At LCA, we value both academic consistency and family time. While we follow Conroe ISD for primary breaks and weather-related closures, we’ve introduced a Spring and Fall Flex Week to give our families more freedom to travel and our students a chance to catch up on coursework.
These weeks are a included in your tuition and are entirely optional for students who are passing all classes and have not dipped below 90% attendance.
These weeks will be used to makeup missed days in each semester for students who are are failing classes or have dipped below 90% attendance.
Fall Flex Week (October 19-23, 2026)

Spring Flex Day (March 26, 2027)
In order to fit these two extra weeks of vacation into our calendar, we trade in a few of the shorter "long weekends" found in the CISD schedule. Please note that LCA will be open on:

Lake Creek Academy operates on a balanced A/B/C rotation:
Mon & Wed: A Days (Core Extended Blocks & Electives)
Tue & Thu: B Days (Core Extended Blocks & Electives)
Fridays: C Days (Extended Block Electives)
How Closures & Holidays Work: Fridays always stay locked as C Days for electives. If school is closed Monday through Thursday for a holiday or weather day, the A/B rotation pauses and picks right back up on the day we return.
