We are still accepting mid-year transfers for grades K-9. Open Enrollment for August 2026 is available for grades K-10 only.
In our Lower School - Lower Elementary program at Lake Creek Academy, we move beyond traditional rote learning to foster a deep sense of inquiry and global citizenship. Our 2nd and 3rd-grade classroom is led by an internationally taught educator trained in the Reggio Emilia approach.
Inspired by the Reggio philosophy, our curriculum views students as capable, resilient researchers who are central to their own learning. Their teacher brings a global perspective to the classroom, integrating a world-view into our core subjects of Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. In this environment, the "environment is the third teacher," encouraging students to express their understanding through a "hundred languages"—from traditional writing and math to art, building, and collaborative projects.
By balancing rigorous academic standards with a focus on student-led discovery and social-emotional growth, we ensure our Lower Elementary students remain curious, empathetic, and prepared to engage with the world around them.
