Top 10 Important Things to Know About MySchoolWorx
Access Your Account 🗝️: You've already setup a login with your username and password when you applied. If your co-parent or spouse needs an account, please contact Michelle@LakeCreekAcademy.com to get it setup and connected to your student(s). You can access the platform via a web browser on any device or by downloading the free MySchoolWorx mobile app from the App Store or Google Play. The app is a convenient way to get real-time updates on the go.
Dashboard Overview 📊: Your dashboard is your home base. It gives you a quick snapshot of your child's academic life, including upcoming assignments, events, and a performance summary. This is the first thing you'll see when you log in, so take a moment to familiarize yourself with it.
Real-Time Grading & Progress 💯: MySchoolWorx gives you real-time access to your child's grades. You can see their scores on assignments, quizzes, and tests as soon as the teacher enters them. This feature helps you monitor your child's academic performance and intervene early if you notice a grade slipping.
Assignments & Homework 📝: You can view all assignments for your child's classes, including due dates and descriptions. MySchoolWorx helps you keep track of homework and projects so you can help your child stay organized and on schedule. Some assignments can even be submitted directly through the platform.
Direct Communication with Teachers 📧: MySchoolWorx provides a secure way to message your child's teachers and school administrators. This feature allows for easy, direct communication about your child's progress or any questions you may have.
Alerts & Notifications 🔔: MySchoolWorx can send you alerts for important events, like when a new assignment is posted, a grade is entered, or if your child's grades begin to slip. You can customize these alerts to be sent to you via email by going to Alerts - Settings and clicking on each Alert Type to customize the notification setting.
School Calendar 🗓️: The platform's calendar shows all upcoming school events, holidays, and classroom activities. It's an excellent tool for staying informed and planning ahead. You can view the calendar by day, week, or month.
Attendance & Discipline 🏫: MySchoolWorx tracks your child's attendance and any reported discipline incidents. This feature provides a clear record of their school behavior and helps you stay informed about their well-being at Lake Creek Academy.
Student Information & Enrollment 🧑🎓: You can use MySchoolWorx to update your contact information and view other student details. It also facilitates the online re-enrollment process, making it simple and paperless.
School-wide Announcements 📢: MySchoolWorx is a central place for the school to post important announcements and newsletters. This keeps you informed about school-wide news, events, and other key information you need to know to stay connected with the Lake Creek Academy community.

In your MySchoolWorx account, click your name in the top right corner, then Profile.
Next to your Phone Number, there is a checkbox called "Broadcast". Check that box next to the mobile number you want to receive alerts (you can only choose one number), and save at the bottom of that screen.
NOTE: If you wish to unsubscribe in the future, follow the same steps to get to your profile, then unselect the Broadcast box.
